AWARE: free education resources for students and teachers
We believe education is the key to creating lasting change. Our main aim is to help young people develop responsible and caring behaviour toward animals, preventing animal cruelty and neglect in the long-term.
That’s why RSPCA South Australia has developed a series of resources aimed at educating young people about animal welfare.
RSPCA AWARE (Animal Wellbeing: Awareness, Responsibility and Education) provides resources for educators, students and parents. These resources help young people develop knowledge, skills and understandings around improving the welfare of all animals, be they companions, farmed or wild animals.
Best of all, the program is free!
AWARE Kids’ Education Portal
The RSPCA AWARE Kids Education Portal is a unique online education resource.
The portal has been designed to support children’s learning about animal welfare and responsibility towards animals, whilst developing children’s respect, understanding and compassion for all living creatures
RSPCA AWARE Teachers’ Portal
