The Corporate Support Day program has been tailored to encourage team building and knowledge exchange, and to give your employees hands on insight into our important work.

How it works

The Corporate Support Day commences at our Lonsdale shelter from 9:30am and concludes at 4:30pm.

In the morning, you will take part in an education workshop designed to enlighten you about some of the lesser known parts of our work. You will then be taken for a ‘behind the scenes’ guided tour of our Lonsdale Shelter, followed by some one-on-one time with some of our furry residents – a favourite part of the day for many!

We will then provide lunch, and in the afternoon you will take part in a maintenance project, which could include anything from gardening to painting or even cleaning kennels. Our corporate volunteers are placed according to the priority needs of the shelter and the skills and interests of the group we have working with us.

The day allows corporate groups to bond through team activities whilst helping the animals at the same time and learning about the shelter and animal welfare.

Testimonials

“On behalf of the BT Financial Group I would like to say a BIG thank-you to the staff and volunteers of the RSPCA. We had the pleasure visiting the RSPCA Lonsdale Branch in South Australia for a Corporate Support Day and we were shown a side to the RSPCA that the general public don’t normally get the chance to see and experience.

The amount of time and effort invested in such a worthy cause left the team feeling very privileged to have experienced the day and one that we will be recommending to our colleagues. Well done to the team at the RSPCA and thank-you for such an informative and interactive day.”

– Ben Morris, BT Financial Group

“I wanted to thank you so very much for the wonderful day our staff experienced last week at the Lonsdale shelter. We all had such a terrific time and since then, I’ve had several people ask when we’re going to hold another day there.”
