We’re excited to meet you! We don’t take bookings, so you will be able to just turn up during our adoption times and we will arrange for one of our team to introduce us. As we have a virtual queuing system, there may be a short wait at times – but we are worth it! If you are hoping to add a dog to your family, we will ask you to select one or two of us to meet, but we don’t allow browsing as it stresses us out and you don’t get to see us at our best.

Dogs: First visitor 10am | Last visitor 2pm
Small Pets: First visitor 10am | Last visitor 1.30pm
Cats: Open to browse and meet from 10am to 3pm
Please note the Lonsdale shelter is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Hi! My name is Pebbles!

Some things to know about me:

-I love the company of other feline friends!

-I am super playful & love treats.

-I tolerate the presence of dogs but only quiet ones! I don’t like dogs that bark a lot or at me.

-I have lived with 2 children who respect my boundaries and know that they can’t pick me up or pat me, but we have fun playing with toys together.

-It will take me some time to feel safe in my new home. I need patient pawrents who will respect this. Once I am comfortable with you, I enjoy slow and gentle pats.

-I enjoy being in people’s company, sometimes from a distance.  

Other pets at home? No worries! – If you choose to adopt a cat that is suitable to live with other animals, it is important that a slow introduction over the course of a few weeks is followed, to ensure a smooth transition into your home for your newly adopted friend, and to not upset any existing furry residents! Please ask our staff for more information.

I am desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with parasite prevention. I have lots of love to give, please come and meet me as soon as you can.
