Lucy finds a home

Here at RSPCA South Australia, we love hearing happy updates from people who adopted someone special from our shelters. This one – from the new fur-parents of Lucy the Staffordshire Terrier Cross – is no exception.

“It’s been 12 months since we were lucky enough to adopt Lucy and it was the best choice we have ever made.

Lucy is now the proud owner of a 3 bedroom house, with views to the beach and regular visits to Kuitpo Forest. Lucy really is living the canine dream!

She loves to meet other canines on her walks. She has made a few canine friends along the way, but seems to be more popular with people with her stunning good looks.

The stuffed or squeaky toys last 2 seconds, so we end up stuffing them with tennis balls and sewing them up – she loves it.  She is such a happy dog and a real pleasure to come home to. We are so lucky to have her as part of our family.

Thank you so much for caring for her, and having the patience to wait for someone to adopt Lucy, she sure is a keeper.”
