Do you love all things animal or have a soft spot for shopping? Perhaps you’re a people person or have a good eye for an impeccable outfit? Whatever your specialty, we are in urgent need of your help!

RSPCA South Australia are excited to introduce a new op shop, which will be opening on the 2^nd September at Marden. The first eastern suburb store to debut amongst our collection, the work is well underway and will open to the public very soon. We can’t wait to show you around… but first there’s the matter of filling it with people just like you!

What better way to fight for our furry friends and give back to the community than to surround yourself with the many intriguing trinkets and treasures of an op shop? There is always something new on offer and hey, we all love a bargain! As a bonus, help us and we’ll help you by offering some perr-fect price cuts on some of our products!

But…. bargain bagging aside, let’s get down to the nitty gritty of what we do. At our op shops, we collaborate with our many teams within RSPCA to deliver services to the community. Essentially, our op shops raise funds that support all animals and allow us to campaign so that we can put all paws forward to help our four-legged friends.

Volunteering at our new op shop will help us increase connectivity with the community and will give you a rewarding experience — beneficial for career building and for that feel-good vibe when you’ve done something for the greater good! Every sale is another step to support animals in need and every smile is another satisfied customer.

As a volunteer, you will be a piece of the puzzle –that as a whole – forms an energetic and passionate team of caring individuals. Each person shares an important role that contributes to daily operations within the store. There are many positions that need to be filled and if you are positive, passionate and prepared to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team, a voluntary role could be yours.
